Daimler Trucks: Entrance Door May Fail To Open Or Close (electrical System)
Recall Summary Certain 2026-2027 Thomas Built SAF-T-LINER HDX2 transit buses have a defect in the electrical system that may prevent the entrance door from opening or closing when operated. A malfunctioning door increases the risk of injury during a crash. A fix is still being developed, and owners will receive notification letters starting August 25, 2026.
