Wrightbus Streetvibe: Parking Brake Can Be Released Before Full Air Pressure Is Achieved
Recall Summary Wrightbus is recalling 2,610 Streetvibe, Streetdeck, and Streetlite buses because a faulty air pipe connection in the brake system allows drivers to release the parking brake before the service brakes are fully ready to work. The fix involves repositioning two air pipes on the Air Processing Unit.

- Vehicles: WRIGHTBUS STREETVIBE, WRIGHTBUS STREETDECK, WRIGHTBUS STREETLITE. Units affected: 2,610
- Reason
- The multi-circuit protection valve section of the Air Processing Unit (APU) has been incorrectly piped. The consequence is that the driver could release the park brake without sufficient pressure in the service brake circuits for them to function as the driver would expect. In this condition the red low pressure warning light for service brake circuits will either be independently illuminated or both together plus the low air pressure buzzer will be sounding. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to change the position of two air pipes on the APU unit.
