Maserati Levante: Possible Short Circuit Of Driver Seat Wiring
Certain Maserati Levante, Quattroporte, and Ghibli vehicles may have an incorrectly installed driver seat wiring harness that can rub against metal parts during normal seat adjustment, potentially causing the seat adjustment system to stop working or, in rare cases, creating a fire risk from an electrical short. About 11,532 vehicles in the United Kingdom are affected. Dealers will replace circuit breakers with fuses, inspect the harness for damage, and apply protective barriers or replace the harness if needed.
