2018 Hyundai Kona - Other

Hyundai is recalling approximately 21,912 vehicles from 2018 to 2025 model years (including Kona, Venue, Santa Fe, Elantra, Ioniq 6, and Genesis GV80 models) because water can enter the horn assembly and corrode the electrical contacts, causing the horn to malfunction or stop working entirely. A non-functioning horn prevents drivers from warning others of danger on the road. Hyundai will extend the warranty to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers and replace the horn for free if it fails, and owners should test their horns regularly and contact a dealership if problems occur.
